You Know You Wanted More MyBlogLog Tools!

MyBlogLog is really a viral product. As more and more people blog about it and more and more people discover ways to exploit it, there are others (well, okay, the same guys) who have found ways to use the service to enhance user experience. SoloSEO has recently come up with a few excellent MyBlogLog tools that improve upon MyBlogLog’s internal networking tools by allowing you to do a number of exciting things, including comparing site visitors between two communities, comparing contacts (common contacts between two users as well as contacts unique to the individual users), comparing community members (common members between two communities as well as members unique to the individual communities), showing all visitors to the communities authored by a particular user, and adding contacts that are members of your communities.
Here are some cool screenshots of the service in action.

In this “Compare Community Visitors” screenshot (below), I’ve compared the visitors of my personal blog (techipedia) to this blog.

I found the layout of “Show All Visitors” to be almost like eye candy (screenshot below):

These look like super useful tools to make social networking even more interesting within the MyBlogLog community. Thanks, SoloSEO, for building this collection of really neat tools!

    Awesome- I’ll start using these.

Cool stuff, for sure, but they need to get rid of the animated .gifs they are starting to be distracting to the highly caffeinated people like me.

Can you say ‘annoying banner ads’?
    ;)

  3. Nice post, glad you are enjoying the tools. They are a lot of fun and I think they really make the MyBlogLog network come to life. I’m surprised MBL doesn’t do more stuff like this, they seem pretty stagnant, except for fixing spam flaws. :)

The animated gifs are here to stay I think, at least until there is an uproar about it. I spoke with Rafer (founder) and he said it’s not something they are trying to prevent right now.

Great blog you have here at 10e20!
