There seems to be a constant air of giddiness of “Ella.” I can’t say that I haven’t succumb to it myself over my personal site. My enthusiasm even has my employers considering a migration over to the WP

I don’t know If I’ll upgrade until they revert back to a using a “links” instead of blogroll. They completely gotten rid of the ability to manamge link categories seperately from post categories so that one can have several different link categories each listed seperately. I typically do this on all of my blogs because I like categorizing links sperately. Unfortunately I’ve not figured out how to do this with “Ella”. Ella’s “blogroll” categories show up in the post categories list, which doesn’t make any sense to me. Perhaps I have to read some more on it.

Chris: I find Ella pretty nice so far. They integrated a lot of fixes that I was tweaking manually, including some changes that I didn’t expect but certainly welcomed. I’m glad for that. I needed that change. :)

Adam: WordPress’s support forum is great for this sort of thing. I would say that they’re especially more keen to bug reports and the like right after a larger version release, such as 2.1. I have found a lot more activity after my most recent “bug reports,” including a plugin that has been created due to a support request that I submitted right after I upgraded. I would definitely give their forums a try.
