This week, I’ll be headed to Dallas, TX for this year’s Pubcon South. It’s going to be the first time that Pubcon is in Dallas and it should be a great conference (as they usually are). I’ll speaking on two panels (back-to-back) on Thursday (April 15th).
The first panel is called Social Media Landscape: Hot Topics and Trends (by the way, I think what I am going to talk about will surprise most people who have seen me present before):

This session focuses on different ways to market through Social Media, whether it is for brand awareness, viral marketing, or direct e-commerce. This is a complex space with fast paced changes and growth. This session will focus on the latest hot topics and trends.
I’ll be joined by Kate Morris, giovanni gallucci & Krista Neher and Andy Beal will be moderating. It should definitely be really interesting…..
Then right after that I will be doing a spotlight solo session on Daily Social Media Success. The cool thing about this is that Bill Hunt will be doing a solo presentation on Managing a Large Scale Search Program right before me (and Bill is one of the smartest guys I know) so this should be a killer 2 for 1

This session focuses on little steps you should be taking everyday to create online social media success stories.
In this session, I’m going to walk people through all of the little (but important) things that they can do to really make a difference for their business (and themselves) in the social media world.
