This is really a win-win from a PR perspective. I think the great things about this are: 1. Alanis now has great viral content with which to regain some more name recognition. 2. Even though Morrisette's version is a spoof and a tweak and she's really shitting on them, it's kindof in good fun. It's not really a bad thing for the BEP's (despite YouTube comments) They will have mounting buzz around their song which was "so 1-2 years ago", and if they treat the situation right, like you suggest Chris, they'll gain from Morrisette's work here.
