Announcing BlueGlass FL

We’re back…. Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce our upcoming conference: BlueGlass FL. Those of you who know me, know I cannot stop – BlueGlass functions very much in the same way (i.e. no sleep). Ever since our debut conference – BlueGlass LA – we’ve received amazing feedback in the form of anxious requests for a sequel from attendees and self-commiserating e-mails and Tweets from those who couldn’t make it. As such, we’ve decided to bring “the experience” to the East Coast.

Once again, we will bring the créme de la créme of the social media, search marketing and venture capital industry to provide our attendees with the latest trends, strategies, and best networking possibilities – back-to-back and all in one place. If you couldn’t make it to LA, check out the reviews and coverage for a better idea of what went down:

15 GOLDEN Takeaways From BlueGlass LA by Loren Baker

We’re keeping the recipe the same – small panels, brilliant minds, tons of opportunities for making friends and business connections… and of course, a little fun. You know, as much fun as you can have during awesome sponsored cocktails, parties, top-notch lunches, dinners, and kick-ass panels.

The ingredients, however, will differ… stay tuned for our roster of speakers…

As Joanna Lord (Director of Customer Acquisition and Engagement at SEOmoz) put it, “I was fortunate enough to attend the first BlueGlass event held down in LA, and couldn’t have been more impressed with the top-notch event they pulled off. Whether you are new to the industry or a pioneer, BlueGlass is one of those events you can’t afford to miss.”

BlueGlass FL will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, a prime entertainment destination in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on November 2-3, 2010. You may want to know that they have a mechanical bull.

More from our attendees: “I’ve been to many conferences and BlueGlass LA was the best I’ve attended in years. The panelists were top-notch and the panels were small enough to allow quality time for speakers to share their insights. The networking each night gave every attendee the chance to talk further with panelists and build solid connections. I’m already working on a few projects withpeople I met at BlueGlass LA and I’m looking forward to the next one.” – Callie Miller, Digital Marketing Consultant

On Twitter: “So far #blueglassLA is what sxsw interactive should be. Awesome.” – Laura Roeder AKA @lkr

  1. Damn. I might have to go to this one. It’s a freakin’ mile away from the house I grew up in and where my parents still live. ;)

  2. Jonah Stein says:

Let me second that. Its where my brother in law got married (the second time). And I think my son might be there.

    Jonah

  3. Adam Singer says:

Hey this is 5 minutes from where I grew up. I will have to try and trek down for it!

    • Chris Winfield says:

It would be great to see you again Adam – I hope you can make it!

  4. If Tamar may be there, then how do I spend the following week in Vegas for PubCon and go to Florida for BlueGlass FL? oh…

I’ll use this opportunity, having been to a number of conferences by those who are now BlueGlass, the approach and networking is above par and something you don’t get at other conferences. Transparency is the name of the game. The value is phenomenal!

  5. My initial reaction was one of great disappointment, since I’m already booked for a week in Vegas for Pubcon. Then I saw it’s gonna be in Ft. Lauderdale, the best beach town east of Santa Monica. I mean come on – you guys sure know how to tweak a person’s desires! So the only other obstacle was that I have a commitment on that Monday. But you addressed that didn’t you? by making this a Tuesday – Wednesday conference!

So OMG I wanna attend Blueglass FL!

  6. Alan, I have the same dilemma … how to do both, given west coast to east coast = 2 days travel? Pondering…

Chris, thanks again for the attribution, and it was a blast taking photos of the great speakers and awesome networking. Tip: “Lookadoo” needs a spelling correction under the photo. Thanks!

    • Chris Winfield says:

      Dana –

We (BlueGlass) had the same dilemma :/ Not only are we going to be doing the amazing BlueGlassFL conference but we’re also going to have a booth at PubCon.

  7. Dave Goodwin says:

LA was fantastic. Going to try an make this too as it’s in my back yard.

    • Chris Winfield says:

I hope you can Dave – the speaker lineup is going to be amazing again!
