Most of you may have already heard – whether via Twitter, our press release, the NY Times (who broke the story) or even Chris’ official post – but we wanted you to hear it from us.
10e20, our baby per se, has grown. It’s been a long road to get here. When Chris and I started 10e20 we had drive, and determination, but no money whatsoever. After leaving our previous company, I took a day job as a fashion designer (what I went to school for) and Chris stayed home and started to build 10e20. A typical day for me would consist of waking up at 5am, getting some work in, commuting from Brooklyn to Manhattan, putting in a full day, coming home and staying up until about 1am working with Chris, getting some rest and starting all over again. Every penny that I made went into 10e20 and our living expenses. This went on until we grew the company to a place where we could match my salary and I could let go of my day job.
And like a child that (seems to) mature overnight, so did 10e20. As the years went by we grew our company and put together an amazing team of people, all who are so personally invested in doing the best job for our clients.
As of yesterday, our team has joined forces with three other spectacular and renowned companies in the industry – Search & Social, Brent Csutoras Inc., and SecondStep Search and is now BlueGlass Interactive, Inc. (BlueGlass), a full service, end-to-end marketing agency with unlimited resources.
Those of you who’ve known us for many years know too well that Chris and I always follow our instincts – this is no different. The idea of the merger originated as one of Chris’ spoken thoughts and the speed with which it has solidified has been astounding. Mergers or acquisitions are rarely an enjoyable experience but I can honestly say that this one has been an absolute pleasure. To be able to work with such a talented, focused, and driven group of people is both an honor and a pleasure. It’s invigorating to start a new chapter as BlueGlass and this time around have company during those working weekends and late nights.
We are all very excited for the possibilities being opened up as a result of joining forces with teams that so harmoniously complement our areas of expertise, as well as what this will mean for all our clients.
From this moment on, please find us at http://www.blueglass.com. We look forward to continue reading your comments on our blog there.
We would all like to thank you for your support and we look forward to being able to serve you at even higher levels going forward!
All the best,
Danielle

Wow, it’s kind of crazy to look back at everything and realize how much really went in to get to this point. Funny thing is that I feel like we’ve worked even harder over the past 2 months to make it all come together
This is pretty fricken awesome!
Congrats to all involved

Thank you very much Griffin!
Congratulations to all involved. These are some big moves and I wish you the best in the years to come. I also want to point out that while the economy is flailing, you all are soaring! Great job!
Thanks for the kind words Randy! We are very excited!
Congrats. Now go take on the iCrossings of the world.
Thanks so much for the support! Our goal is to be the best, not the biggest
Awesome Danielle! The opportunities are amazing! This will be our third (fourth) company working together
I look forward to many more years of working together Pat. It’s been fun!
Congratulations to all of you. It’s great to see agencies joining each other rather than buying each other.
Thank you Bob! For us coming together in this way was very natural in terms of brand and value. I appreciate your comment!
“Everyone from work is going out for happy hour! I want to go.”
“Just come home Danielle, I have a lot of work we need to get done”
“But Chris, I could really use a drink with my co-workers.”
“I have a 40oz of Old English and a pack of mentos.”
“[Sigh] I’ll be home soon.”
This never happened, but was jokingly said by me during a cab ride with you guys when we passed the actual address of 10 east 20th.
Amy and I are very happy for you and excited to see how the next years unfold for the new company. Look forward to seeing you guys soon.
Hahaha. Something like that….also turning down group lunches, and not chipping in for co workers bday parties because there wasn’t even an extra $5 in the budget. I missed out on so much cake!
We thank you and Amy very much for the support!
Awesome guys- I really admire and respect your dedication to pursuing your dream, the hard work it took, and the people skills you guys have to create a merger like this.
Rock on. B
Thanks Brian for such a lovely message! I have to say I am so touched by all of these comments!
Congrats to the 10e20 team — and as a fan/supporter, I hope it works out for you guys and your group doesn’t lose it’s individuality.
Thank you very much Adam! I think the merger actually allows us to keep our individuality. Some of the alternatives we were looking at would have absorbed and transformed us more-so.
Congratulations all around! Too many people think that SEO superstars like you and Chris just get that way by magic – meanwhile, you’re busting your butts to get the job done.
I just hope there are clients left over for the rest of us
Congratulations, I am sure this new company will be great!
This rocks – what a team, what a story (I didn’t know all the details, thanks for sharing!) – I’ll be seeing you in Los Angeles! Cheers, Jon
