I believe everyone going green is the only thing that can save the planet. We will all be doomed if we keep neglecting the serious impact of global warming.

You are correct that it is important to conserve energy, however think about this for a moment.

Energy companies never know exactly what the power demand is, so they have to always produce a little extra energy then is needed. Where does that extra energy go when we, the consumers are not using it? No where. That's right, the extra energy is produced yet never used.

A great concept here would the ability to store the extra energy that is produced in say batteries, and then use them at a later time to reduce energy generation.

10e20 has taken a good step by going green. Major companies like Google and Microsoft are doing the same thing. I mostly use public transportation as my own little contribution, and I'm in the process of installing solar power.

It’s good to know that people are actually taking action instead of just talking. Congratulations 10e20!

By the way, I said a lot of stuff about how local governments need to provide more incentives to people for recycling, and how we need to restructure our message to the word, etc. But no… they cut it out and ended up putting a little clip in with me talking about paper towels like a moron. Oh well…

For real though, great job. It doesn’t take that much effort to be green, so it’s great to see 10e20 leading the way or at least publicizing it. Keep up the great work in search and saving the world one polar bear at a time!
